Nonna's House

Situated on a working dairy farm, Nonna’s House offers magnificent sea views and is ideally placed for exploring the coastal walks, accessible via a private farm path, and beaches of the peninsula. Accessed via its own secluded walled garden, the cottage is part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is only a 10 minute drive to St Ives.

 

The Cottage

A traditional Cornish stone cottage, Nonna’s House offers a wealth of both traditional and unique features such as a teak stair case, slate flooring and a large granite fireplace.

Kitchen

The kitchen is light with a high ceiling and fully equipped with a Butlers sink, an Aga, fridge/freezer and ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. A washing machine is also included in the utility room. Views from the window down towards the sea.

Sitting/Dining room

The sitting room is dominated by a large open fire and features a slate floor and exposed teak beams. The room also has a TV and Stereo System. It is furnished with a dining table, sofas, armchairs and a dresser.

Master bedroom

The main bedroom has teak floors and views to the sea. It is furnished with a double bed, drawers, armchair and side table. The are also built in cupboards with hanging space.

Slate room

This is twin bedroom with slate floors, fireplace and access to a balcony overlooking the secluded garden and views up Zennor hill from the windows and balcony.

Other notes

  • Bed linen is provided and beds will be made up on arrival. The bathroom on the first floor and towels are provided.

  • Central heating in main rooms. Logs and coal for the fire are provided.

  • Unfortunately we cannot accept any pets in the house.

  • Arrival and departure Saturday.
